In our activity services, we aim for quiet, low‑impact tourism that respects the environment. We want to offer experiences in the nature of Lapland without the roar of engines. In summer and autumn, we provide canoeing programs, fishing and hunting trips, gold panning using various methods (including suction dredging), hiking tours, nature excursions, and canoe rentals when needed. In winter, you can join us for trips or longer treks on skis or snowshoes, try your luck ice fishing, or hunt for the magnificent Northern Lights on our guided tours.

We offer accommodation services at the Köysivaara Wilderness Center, located about 38 km from the Saariselkä resort area, near the village of Kuttura. The distance to Ivalo Airport is approximately 63 km (45 minutes).

The diverse facilities of the Köysivaara Wilderness Center can also be rented for private use. The manor provides accommodation for both large and small groups. In the yard area, there is a large, lovely wood‑heated sauna and a small arctic pond perfect for a refreshing dip. Köysivaara is also an excellent camp school center and a nature‑oriented training venue for various educational institutions, clubs, organizations, and companies.

Our kitchen is available for use, and on request we also provide catering and banquet services. We tailor meals according to the customer’s wishes, from home‑style dishes to gourmet dinners. Ingredients are primarily sourced locally and from local entrepreneurs:

• Fish from Lake Inari

• Game (bear, moose, ptarmigan, and reindeer)

• Berries, jams, and juices
