Peurasuvanto Cabins & Camping offers easily accessible, wilderness-inspired accommodation surrounded by the stunning scenery of Lapland, located right along Highway E75, near the Kitinen River, approximately 50 kilometers north of Sodankylä town center. A cozy cabin village, summer café, sauna and nature experiences make your visit truly unique.

The cabin village includes a total of 12 cabins, a summer café, a sauna, fishing waters, and berry-filled forests – everything you need for a rustic getaway!

One of Peurasuvanto’s highlights is the traditional kota (Lappish hut), available for guest use, where you can prepare your day’s catch over an open fire for dinner by the riverside.

Each cabin includes cooking facilities and dishes based on bed capacity, cooking utensils, coffee and electric kettles, and a TV.

Tent travelers and caravanners are also warmly welcome. The price includes access to shared showers, sauna, service facilities, campfire spots, and the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the waters of the Kitinen River.

Nearby, you’ll find Sompio Nature Park, Pyhä-Nattanen, and Pomokaira, offering wilderness trails, fell landscapes, and berry-picking forests. Fishing and berry-picking opportunities are available right outside your door.

Open during the summer season, the Peurasuvanto Café serves fresh coffee, homemade pastries, soup lunches, and refreshing roadside breaks. Souvenirs are also available for purchase at the café.
