Pyh\u00e4-Nattanen is ideal for day hikers<\/h2>\n

The magnificent Pyh\u00e4-Nattanen is one of Sompio’s most famous fells. On this hike you can enjoy the stunning beauty of Sompio’s nature.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Pyh\u00e4-Nattanen is located in the Sompio Strict Nature Reserve<\/a> and from the top you can admire the nightless night. There are six Nattastunturi with sharp summits in total, but according to the park’s rules, only two of them – Pyh\u00e4-Nattanen and Ter\u00e4v\u00e4-Nattanen – are available to hikers. The glaciation did not make the Nattanen fells round like the others, because they are hard, red granite.<\/p>\n

A round trip to Pyh\u00e4-Nattanen is 7 km long. The terrain is challenging and hiking or trekking boots are necessary. Please note, that in the Sompio Strict Nature Reserve you can hike only at the marked trails.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The road to Pyh\u00e4-Nattanen trail starting point is not accessible at winter.<\/p>\n
